When delete some1 from friend list on msn hotmail do they know if i readd them to my friends?

When delete some1 from friend list on msn hotmail do they know if i readd them to my friends?
Basically, once you delete someone the other person, will just see you offline.... now if you never go online, then it's kinda obv that you have blocked them.
Reply:the person you have deleted will not no that you have deleted them they will just see you as offline but if they go on msn yell then they will no that you have ether blocked them or deleted them
