When I block someone from Hotmail can they still send me an MSN message?

I don't want to go into too much detail, but I blocked someone from sending me emails so I will not have their messages looming in my inbox.


However, I delted them from MSN (not blocked), and would like to know if they are ever still able to send me a message?
