Click on the + sign on your msn messenger. Fill in his email and click submit. If he has sent you a request, and you haven't see anything pop up, logout and login again and you should a request. Accept the request.

How do you add people on Hotmail.com (MSN) I am new at this and my friend already sent me a request.?
Close to the top, just below your name is a whole bunch of icons ( about 4 or 5 ) the is one with a a plus sign ( + ) click on that. Type in the persons e-mail and it will send them a request to accept or decline.
