Hello,

(ans) Email services over the internet are delivered using x2 different protocols (mail services) POP3 is used ONLY for incoming email, thats all pop3 does. And for outbound mail its SMTP. i.e. sending ONLY.

**This means when setting up your local email client program (the program you use to collect or send mail) such as Outlook Express or Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. Your program needs to know the precise location of the mail server which holds your mail box.

**Contact Talk Talk (ISP) tecnhical support people by phone and ask them what your POP3 mail servers "HostName" or IP adress is?

**Contact MSN (ISP) tecnhical support people by phone and ask them what your POP3 mail servers "HostName" or IP adress is?

The hostname looks like this for example:- mail.force9.net (pop3) or SMTP could be like this :- relay.force9.net

**This information may well be either on the Talk Talk or MSN website if you know where to look or if you were sent a set up email it could also be in the email instructions.

Hope that helps?
