i need to delete my msn as i no longer use it any ideas how please....

then click onto inbox


then in the top right hand corner under sign out click options and then more options.


then under "manage your account" click view and edit personal info.


at the bottom of the page under additional options click close account...

I forgot my msn hotmail password?

I read all the rules for getting back your password but I can't understand. I set it to ask me whenever I want to log in and now I can't log in. And I also forgot my alternate email. It said that you can send a password change mail to your hotmail but how can you open it if you don't even know your own password?

Its not complicated. Before to connect on you msn address, you choice ACCOUNT SERVICE. There you will have to sign it, like usual. You will have a menu with CUSTOMERS SUPPORT. And there you could choice to close you account !!

Technically they are renaming to Windows Live Hotmail for some reason. I suppose this gets confusing when you can use a Windows Live account or an old MSN hotmail account or some other Windows Live ID to login to hotmail.

Yes its because the whole different connection thing doesn't work and isn't compatible with yahoo making it so hard to connect to finally send the email. Once they get the stability fixed it ll be fine.
Reply:I experience the same thing with different mobile carriers. It's one of those "accidentally on purpose" things! You know, they are hoping it's irritating enough for you to change your service provider.

Reply:Yes I have discovered this, and I have contacted MSN about it, they clearly say the fault is on Yahoo's side. However MSN also has its faults like automated messages NEVER get deleivered.

no, you can't get back the old version...write to them with the feedback link...i did...i like the old version too...and i wrote, but never heard back from them...so it's going to take a lot of others writing in so they will listen to us...progress has forced us to deal with the upgrades they chose for us...

The old version of Hotmail is no longer available.


"Windows Live Hotmail Classic" is the closest you're going to get and its not much different than the regular "Windows Live Hotmail".


Unfortunately, there is no way to get around this....
